The general idea behind the accommodation options provided below is to offer basic option for accommodation within 3 minute walking distance from the conference venue in the middle of the beutiful Old Town (hotel Rott) and for accommodation in two other places which have a convenient short and direct public transport connection to the conference venue and are located close to each other - so that people can get together in the evening in the surrounding laid back districts of Prague (Dejvice, Holešovice, Letná) which have a more local feeling (hotel Vienna House Diplomat and Vila Lanna) and have a lot of little cafes, restaurants and beer places (see the general information section for some ideas on where to eat and drink in these districts).

WARNING !!! - Unfortunately, some of the participants of the Prague Hume Society conference have been approached by a fraudulent company (in this case, ehotelservices.org ) which pretends to act as our conference support and asks people for money to reserve accommodation. Please, do not respond to mails or phone calls of this kind. If you wish to reserve any hotel we offer follow the instruction below.

Hotel Rott, Old Town, Prague

Situated in the very center of the Old Town of Prague, literally a few steps from the Old Town Square, four star Hotel Rott provides comfortable accommodation in rooms styled in the late 19th century elegance with all the modern amenities you can think of. The Hotel has a view to the Little Square and streets of the Old Town and is located very close to the conference venue. For more details see the link of the hotel below. Hotel Rott offered us a discount and blocked 35 single rooms.

Edit 13 May, 2022. The capacity of the hotel allocated for our conference is now full. The hotel still have several free rooms for its regural guests. Please write to the hotel about the possibility to make a reservation and ask about the price. The price will be higher than the one originally offered here but you can still get a discount. The reservation needs not be prepaid and can be cancelled free of charge till 48 hours before the arrival. Hotel Vienna House Diplomat Prague

The Vienna House Diplomat Prague is a well-known four star Prague Hotel located in Dejvice, close to the historic center. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms & suites, restaurant, hotel bar, spa and wellness.

We have blocked 40 rooms for the participants of the conference. The rooms will be blocked till the end of April.

Cancelation policy: Reservations can be cancelled free of charge 28 days or more prior to guest arrival.

Vila Lanna

The villa is situated in a large garden in the Bubeneč district of west part of Prague. Its grounds are along the former main road used to reach Stromovka Park.

Villa Lanna was projected in 1868 and built until 1872 by Czech industrial entrepreneur and world-famous art collector Adalbert (Vojtěch) Lanna Junior (1836-1909) to be a summer residence for his family. It was designed probably by Vojtěch Ignác Ullmann in an early Neo-Renaissance style inspired by Italian Palladian models of villa suburbana, designed at the same period by Gottfried Semper in Dresden. It belonges to the best examples of such villas in the Middle Europe

At present, villa belongs to the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and offers accommodation to its conference quests. The villa is available for the quests of the Hume Society Conference from Sunday 3 July, 2022.

There are 7 rooms on the 1st floor of Villa Lanna; bathrooms are shared by two rooms. In the year of 2000, the accommodation capacity was extended by 17 rooms with the addition of two separate buildings in the garden of the villa. The rooms in the garden offer simple accommodation and have private bathrooms. A barrier-free room is also available. All rooms are equipped with a satellite TV, a refrigerator, a telephone and a wi-fi or cable connection.
